A. Stop and reflect on the words that I use. [Patricia] used supportive language and created a space where I could be messy and make mistakes.

Q. What are you doing differently as a result of the leadership coaching program?

A. There are weekly things I have implemented and have stuck to. End of the day Friday, I have a meeting with myself to think about my priorities from the last week and, if I delivered, why/why not. On Monday, I look at several weekly metrics from the week prior. Patricia calls this the MMI Meeting. "Me, Myself, and I"

Q. What was the biggest lesson you took away from coaching?

A. Staying the course with those habits, using metrics to measure how I am doing - [personally and professionally]. I used to track habits and metrics, but I wasn’t making time for it. Patricia introduced me to the book TRACTION. Coaching around TRACTION was really helpful in re-establishing my Scorecard."

A. Some tools I used right away (e.g., TRACTION and the 12-Week Year) were literally a game-changer. Patricia's resources helped me focus and motivated me to get things done and be productive. [The program] has been a game changer in my professional and personal life. Patricia was such a cheerleader.

Q. How effectively did the coach meet your needs as a business owner?

A. I did not know what I needed. Patricia was supportive of whatever I showed up with. Patricia explained that we focus on where I am, identify where I want to be, and coach the gap. Sometimes, I wanted Patricia to pick a topic. Patricia always brought me back to my leadership coaching plan and encouraged me to choose.
